This place came highly recommended and I decided to give it a try. I had friends visiting from out-of-town and they both love this place so we all went there for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere definitely has a diner feel to it and we waited about five minutes to be seated. The waitress brought our drinks really quickly; however, she then said she would be right back and didn't come back for approx. ten minutes. I ordered a side salad and a burger. The salad was excellent and the portion was of perfect size for a side salad. The burger was ok, not great. Probably the best thing about this meal was the rolls which appear to be homemade and were phenomenal. We had the waitress bring us balsamic vinaigrette dressing to dip the rolls in and they tasted great. Very fresh and hot! I really like this place even though I think our server was distracted because she seemed a little off of her game that night. The food was on par and the atmosphere is pretty laid back and casual. It's also not that expensive and has comparable prices with any diner around. I did have a coupon which made the meal even more affordable and I will definitely be using my other coupon in the future. If you are in the mood for great salads and "dinerish" food, give this place a try. I think you'll like it.

Although this place has the largest selection of salads and good portions, home made dressings, even home made hot fudge... Idk why I do not care to come. My husband drags me in here every time we are in or near town. Decent service, typical American menu, reasonable prices... I usually order sides, gotta be in the mood for salad. Maybe it's the 70s decor that needs updating but they r just hoping all the colors and styles will return one day? LONG wait,, let me tell ya. Or the old lady perfume I have to put up with? Def do not expect any hint of California from the name, just a good diner that attracts the locals. (mostly older locals) OH, LADIES! ALWAYS BRING YOUR SWEATERS!!!!!

I absolutely ADORE the Beverly Hills Cafe! My only regret is that they closed the South Miami location because now there isn't one remotely close to home. Unlike the South Miami location however, this one is obviously very clean and well taken care of. It's almost always busy, but the service is always on point. I love this place so much that it's gotten to the point that I try to find excuses to get my boyfriend to visit Ikea so that we can drop by the Cafe & I can indulge in my favorite salad (Cajun Chicken). Their honey mustard dressing is the ABSOLUTE best! Their portions are huge but their salads are so great it's a crime to leave any behind. Their rolls are soft, warm and served with their deliciously whipped butter. When in the mood to indulge I'll have their signature Tollhouse pie for dessert. It's so good it's sinful (seriously). It's got fudge with a chocolate cookie topping, and is served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It's OUTRAGEOUS! I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!

Large portions, decent food (better than a bar, not as good as Grand Lux! Prices are great. FOOD: Great lunch food. Rolls are decent. More crusty than, if you remember, the Sports Bar in the same plaza (now out of business) on Clery and Nob. Also, check out my pictures on this page. Great lunch food. $14 for a fish $8 for a burger WAITRESS: Terri was my waiter. I came in around 3PM. Unfortunately she was either bored or pushy, because she waited for us by our table while we browsed the menu. She frequented the table, more than enjoyable. RESTROOM: Unfortunately I can only review the mens! -No hot water. Water facet nobs turn in opposite directions (awkwardly). -Small stall has a broken lock. -Touch paper dispenser (I.E. The one you have to level down.) -No garbage pail by the exit door. Best option, if you like opening doors with paper towels, is out of the restroom and to the right by the entrance to the kitchen hallway; there is a can here. -1 large handicap stall -1 normal -1 urinal (Since men and women restrooms are generally proportional, I can assume the women's restroom has 3 stalls.) Open on Easter. Dairy queen right next door! PARKING: A busy supermarket time might leave you walking for a parking spot, considering the Publix in the plaza generally hogs the spots.

No one has reviewed this place! Where are all my Plantation people?! This is such a neighborhood spot. It's the place you go and accidentally run into your friends mom, your grandma, your friends grandma, etc. Seriously everyone loves this place. Old people, families, young people, etc. They also have take-out which is what I usually do because the atmosphere inside is really just an 80's-ish diner that really needs a makeover. The menu is huge and they offer all the diner favorites. But what people come here for is the rolls and whipped butter. The rolls are so fresh, hot, and delicious. They are perfectly round and flaky and they still have some flour on the outside to make them seem fresher than they probably are and the butter comes in a little dish on the side and it's salty and whipped and like nothing you can buy in the store. When I order take-out I ask for extra and stock up and use it on my toast and everything else. When I come here I love to order their appetizers. My favorites are the spinach bites, mozarella sticks, and potato skins. Seriously though, the spinach bites. You have to try them! I also like all their chicken sandwiches. They have like a million. They are supposed to come grilled and I am notorious for ordering the Honey Mutard Grill with crispy chicken. They always do it for me even though it's not on the menu at all. Yum Yum. They also have really BIG salads. Like you could eat for days off those things and soo many options and tons of homemade dressings and lots of low-fat options. They even have a low-fat portion of the menu for people who are into that sort of thing.
